Contains pastoral diaries, personal diaries, genealogical records of the Yeats family, printed materials, and photographs (1910-1975). Born February 8, 1888, Yeats was a minister from 1908-1953, and authored the book, Lights and Shadows in the Itinerant Ministry.

This trust estate, an agency of Malcolm Hiram Reed, organized in 1923 to purchase 300,000 acres of land in Hockley and Lamb counties of Texas from the heirs of George W. Littlefield. The land was then resold in small plots to farmers. It is the successor of the Littlefield Lands Company.
Young, Arthur and Vera

Contains correspondence, programs and scrapbook material pertaining to various local organizations in which primarily Vera Young was involved. Arthur Young is a former professor of agronomy at Texas Tech University. His wife, Vera Young, was a member of several women's clubs in Lubbock, Texas.

Contains information about Young's work as an agricultural consultant to Argentina for the Bunge y Born Corporation. Includes reports of visits to the Estancia region of Argentina, guidelines for growing cotton and insect control, a soil feasibility study, and a five-year proposal for agricultural enterprises in Estancia La Pelada. The collection bulks (1970) with the proposed five year plan. It also includes Christmas cards, news clippings, bulletins, weather research, scholarship information, and written articles.
Professor Emeritus of Agronomy at Texas Tech University, Arthur W. Young came to Texas Technological College in 1935 as a professor of agronomy and, during his tenure, served as chairman of the department.

A military veteran and attorney, Young was born in 1891 in Craighead County, Arkansas. He served in both World War I and World War II, and was the chief attorney for the Lubbock, Texas, Veterans Administration (1946-1961). He retired to a private law practice in Lubbock, Texas. Young was a member of the Texas Bar Association and the Allen Brothers American Legion Post. He died in 1965.
