"Texas In Review"

Between 1954 and 1958 the Humble Oil Company sponsored "Texas in Review," a televised documentary series on daily life in the Lone Star State. Focused on Texas history, culture and sports--especially Southwest Conference football, the series was wildly successful and has been subsequently re-broadcast on public television stations.

Individual episodes are viewable in the Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library Reading Room with at least one day's notice for setting up of the antique equipment. (Some episodes have already been digitized for viewing on DVD.) Copies of single episodes may be ordered on DVD with one-week notice, payment of charges found on the Price Guideline.
